Medical Case Studies
Located within a modern Sunshine Coast medical precinct, the fitout strikes a balance between warmth and restraint, creating an interior that feels deliberate, welcoming, and quietly confident. The design avoids a traditionally clinical look, instead focusing on layered, muted tones, natural textures, and a cohesive material palette that creates a sense of ease and trust from first arrival.
Carlton Specialists is a specialist medical practice that reimagines what a healthcare environment can feel like — where the quality of the built environment is understood as an extension of the quality of care itself. Located within one of Carlton’s most character-rich buildings, Elite Projects delivered a hospitality-led interior that balances the gravitas of the heritage setting with a contemporary, metropolitan design language. The result is a calm, considered space where patients feel genuinely at ease from the moment they arrive — and where a world-class clinical team can do their very best work.
Every decision was made in service of the patient experience. A layered palette of deep charcoals, warm timbers, soft stone tones, and tactile textiles creates an atmosphere of understated confidence. Thoughtful lighting transitions patients through the space — from arrival and reception through to private consultation — reducing anxiety and reinforcing a sense of safety and trust at every step. A bespoke furniture strategy ensures comfort, privacy, and operational flow are embedded into every zone of the suite, not considered as an afterthought.
Beyond aesthetics, the fitout was designed to support the clinical team’s day-to-day workflow — with joinery, spatial planning, and material selection all contributing to an environment that is as functional as it is refined.

Elite is proud to deliver the renovation and expansion of Keperra Medical Centre, a project designed to support the delivery of additional healthcare and allied health services to the growing local community.
The upgrade responds to increasing demand in the area, expanding the clinic’s capacity while improving patient flow and enhancing the overall care environment.
The interior direction draws on natural materials and organic forms, creating a calm and contemporary healthcare setting. Curved details are integrated throughout the space to soften the built environment, while a palette of warm timbers, woven textures and soft neutral tones establishes a welcoming, human-centred atmosphere.
The result is a modern sanctuary for health and wellbeing — a space designed to feel both professional and restorative for patients and practitioners alike.
Elite completed the interior design and construct of Neighbourhood Medical, a 340m² GP clinic featuring 9 consult rooms, pathology, a treatment & small procedure room, and staff facilities. Our design direction focused on creating a welcoming, uplifting, and family-friendly environment that reimagines traditional clinical spaces. Every detail celebrates the clinic’s commitment to exceptional care and a thriving community, making patients and staff feel at ease from the moment they walk in.
