Medical on Burleigh

Having worked with Elite on three previous occasions, HMS Medical Group approached Elite to create their largest practice yet. This time the project was in Burleigh and HMS wanted a large purpose-built medical centre to provide a wide range of health care services to their patients.

Spanning over 1,000sqm, the medical centre includes general practitioners, psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and podiatrists. Together with HMS, the Elite design team developed a layout that accommodated each discipline in their own operational area and optimised function and flow throughout. As the tenancy has a narrow shape, lighting and signage were used as ‘wayfinders’ to enable patients to easily move through the centre and get to where they needed to be.
